Governor Makinde's 11 MW Power Project Faces Delay, Promise Broken

Seyi Makinde promised to complete the ongoing 11 MW Independent Power Project (IPP) within the first year of being re-elected, aiming to provide about 15-20% of the current average power distributed to residents of Oyo State from the national grid. However, the project's completion, now estimated for Q2 2024, surpasses the original timeline set by Seyi Makinde. Therefore, this promise is rated as Promise Broken.
