Overview

AdvoKC Youth Champions Program (A.Y.C.P) brings together more than 215 volunteers from all 36 states in Nigeria who are passionate about holding elected officials accountable. The program provides comprehensive training sessions that equip these champions with the skills and tools to drive positive change in their communities

Impact Numbers

Young champions nationwide were trained in promoting good governance and accountability, with over 100 of them being females.

Impactful knowledge-sharing sessions were held, engaging over 100 young champions.

Promises successfully tracked by champions in ten states, including Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Kaduna, Oyo, Taraba, Benue, and Zamfara.

Four advocacy visits were conducted in Oyo, Abia, Benue, and Taraba.

Training and Capacity Building

AYCP focused on training young champions in areas such as promise tracking, advocacy, campaign strategies, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), media and communication skills, and familiarization with AdvoKC Projects such as Batometer, Promise ring, and Soludometer.
