Engr. Seyi Makinde Delivers on Promise for Gender Inclusivity: Four Female Commissioners Sworn In

Engr. Seyi Makinde, in his manifesto, promised to increase the number of female commissioners in his cabinet to 4, aiming to foster inclusivity. On the 14th of September, 2023, the Governor swore in 2 more commissioners, fulfilling this promise by completing four from the other two in his initial list.

The four female commissioners in the cabinet are: Miss Wasilat Adegoke - Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Dr. Adewumi Ajetunmobi - Commissioner for Health, Alhaja Fausat Joke Sanni - Commissioner for Special Duties, and Mrs. Toyin Balogun - Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion.
