We identified the case of the Ita faaji road, a road Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State promised to fix within his 1st 100 days in office. Testimonies of commuters were littered with accidents as the road had deteriorated into a death trap for commuters.
Method
We did a documentary showing the state of the road which included stories from commuters and residents alike and launched an online campaign.
Result
With the online campaign ongoing, we engaged the community leaders and government representatives offline and the result was immediate palliative work being carried out on the road.
