We started this campaign under our Promise Ring Project to advocate for the fulfilment of a promise made by Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State to begin active construction on Alagbole-Ayawoele-Ajuwon and Akute Roads. According to him, "We have set a firm two-week deadline for the completion of the Denro-Ishasi Road project, and within two weeks, maximum three weeks, there will be active construction along Alagbole-Ayawoele-Ajuwon and Akute roads."
Method
We sent out a letter to the Governor requesting for the fulfilment of his promise, we also put out a Press Release to this effect. After this, we embarked on a one-man online advocacy campaign requesting the governor to keep to his promise.
Result
On Day 9 of our one-man campaign, heavy machineries were deployed and "active construction" began on the Alagbole-Ajuwon Road.
